As the European Commission this week neared a decision to tax imports of Chinese solar panels, BM suggested Beijing may want to hit back at the EU wine sector. You know, what with EU trade chief Karel De Gucht being such a wine-nut, and having just launched his own line of Chianti from his own Tuscan vineyard. A case of “chiantidumping” if you will…


Or maybe, more modestly, it just because the French voted in favour of the solar-panel duties…
