A senior EU official has been forced to step down amid claims he may have been implicated in a honey-for-influence scandal surrounding a pesticide ban.
The top Eurocrat is said to have met with a lobbyist who goes under name of Mr Sanders, acting on behalf of the honey industry.
EU antifraud officials say two meetings took place in the hundred-acre wood.
“Mr Sanders” is understood to have told a honey company he could get his former friend and now EU health commissioner Christopher Robin to ban the pesticide, which scientists say is harmful to bees.

In exchange he demanded a payment of more than 10 percent of the honey company’s production.
There’s no evidence any of the honey was intended as a sweetener or spread-payment for commissioner Robin.
But fuckit, they fired him anyway…
Tiddly-pom,
